For non-household or commercial electronics waste, a collection or drop-off will need to be arranged. All clients are issued with the appropriate waste transfer note, and contract clients can customize regularly-scheduled pickups or drop-offs to meet their needs. Data Destruction:All electrical equipment containing data bearing media such as computers, hard drives, floppy drives, CDs, etc. collected or dropped off at our warehouse are placed in a monitored and secure lab area. That containment area is always visible from the executive offices, so our executives always have eyes on the data destruction process. Our trained and trusted staff handle your equipment containing secure data with care. The equipment is tested, data wiped with approved software and then refurbished. We try to manage the outflow as inflow. We do not break the sequence of the systems coming into the lab unless necessary under company policy. This ensures that your assets and data are secure and data is destroyed in accordance with the strictest rules.American Greenz accounts for data destruction in writing at our clients' request, and as such, has a policy in place catering to data protection principles. For hard drives, we use the latest and most secure data wiping software, which is used internationally by agencies such as the United States Department of Defense.
